94.5% kids survive after cancer treatment: Study

The five-year overall survival rate stands at 94.5%, while event-free survival is at 89.9%. Two years after treatment, the survival rate rises to 98.2%. As of Dec 2024, follow-up data was available for 5,140 children, with 92% alive and in remission.
