India faced the highest number of risky heat days globally. Climate change added dangerous heat to over 117 million people in the city. The average Indian experienced 39 days with temperatures influenced by climate change this summer. Globally, over 1.5 billion people endured 30 or more such days. Asia saw the largest population exposed to this significant heat impact.
